We deliver these services through individuals with years of technical expertise and professional experience as contractors, engineers, architects, project managers, and technical professionals.

ARAMARK Asset Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Capital Program Director/Construction Manager

A Capital Program Director/Construction Manager's (CPD/CM) primary responsibility will be to provide leadership to a project team providing comprehensive project development and construction management services for a large complex project or for multiple projects. This individual is highly skilled in all aspects of construction and project management services and is expected to be able to lead a project of any size and complexity and assume full financial responsibility. This individual serves as the "point person" leading the process, directs other project managers and should be able to work independently with limited support and oversight from a Regional Director.

This person is thoroughly familiar with initiating a project at the conceptual stage, budget and schedule development, leading it through the design process, preparation of construction documents, bidding and negotiation, permitting, financial controls, contracting arrangements and construction management through owner occupancy.

Scope of projects is estimated at $100 million which includes renovation of existing space and the addition of new space at an acute care hospital. The duration of these projects is expected to last approximately 5-10 years.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 - 15 years of demonstrated, increased responsibility in providing leadership for a capital construction program including program development and construction management.
* Significant construction experience in a healthcare environment required
* Prior experience as a construction manager or general contractor including project concept development, budget and schedule development, contractor and sub-contractor selection, contracting arrangements, construction oversight and financial monitoring and reporting
* Excellent presentation and communication skills to executive leadership, client departmental groups, governing boards, consultants and construction personnel.
* Team building proficiency and staff management
* Ability to prioritize tasks and multiple responsibilities in order to provide a high level of client service.
* Ability to produce concise, well written status reports for delivery to the client's executive leadership
* Experience with the requirements of and implementation of Joint Commission, ICRA & ILSM protocols and procedures in a healthcare environment.
* Working knowledge of Building Codes, Life Safety Codes & ADA standards.
* Experience in retaining and managing professional consultants including architects, engineers, estimators, schedulers, healthcare planners and healthcare equipment planners.
* Experience in leading projects through the regulatory and approval process including the Department of Public Health, zoning boards, building inspectors, fire marshals and other state and local authorities having jurisdiction as well as coordination of project close-out.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer
