Responsibilities:

This individual will be part of an energetic and results-oriented team responsible for TE s customer-facing website as well as integration and customization of on-premise and SaaS third-party software packages/systems. Position requires a well-rounded individual with highly technical hands-on development experience as well as analytical/business skills.

Requirement:

1. Plan, design and develop web-based applications to support TE s customer-facing website and eCommerce applications.
2. Configuration, testing, implementation, administration and integration of third-party software packages/systems.
3. Provide support of existing applications including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements.
4. As required, responsible for the complete software development life cycle - producing detailed Business Requirements, Functional/Technical Specifications, coding, testing and implementation.

Position Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

1. 8+ years of hands-on working experience designing, coding, testing, documenting and maintaining web-based applications in a multi-platform environment. eCommerce and external customer website experience preferred.
2. Development and implementation experience with the following technologies:
1. Required: J2EE/Java, JavaScript, AJAX, Oracle SQL
2. Preferred: Unix, Dojo, WebSphere, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting
3. Desirable: 3rd party software packages/systems (on premise and/or SaaS), Salesforce.com, web communities, social media, and customer portals.

3. Experience authoring Business Requirements, Functional/Technical Specifications, Use Cases, Data Models, and Test Plans.
4. Must be self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work independently and as part large, cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent oral and written communication. Confident communicator; comfortable communicating with all levels within the organization including senior leadership.

Education Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering OR equivalent experience and knowledge required.
