NHS is currently seeking TFC FCP Clinical Director to join our NHS division name Ther Family Foster Care in our Harrisburg, PA location.

POSITION DETAILS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.

  • Standardization of best practices and areas across NHS TFC/FCP programs
  • Provide evidence based and best practice support and guidance to TFC/FCP programs and Regional Directors
  • Coordinate and conduct quality reviews for TFC/FCP programs in partnership with the NHS Quality and Compliance Office (QCO) to ensure compliance to the TFC/FCP model
  • Supports the development of marketing and communication materials for the TFC/FCP programs for the purposes of public and consumer education and business development opportunities
  • Leads the development of TFC/FCP expertise and continuing education and professional development within TFC/FCP teams
  • Responsible for steering activities to include Policy and Procedure review, G --drive management, form updating, partnering with QCO for review and submission
  • Conducts process analysis in conjunction with TFC/FCP field operations and support change process following audit/process mapping
  • Conduct critical incident reviews as assigned
  • Provides support for Case review for TFC/FCP teams
  • Provides verbal and written reports related to Operations and Quality Reviews
  • Plays key support role in reviewing, editing, and approving Corrective Action and Performance Improvement Plans for TFC/FCP teams. In addition to assisting with implementation of the plan, supporting the team, and monitoring of corrective action plans
  • Supports TFC/FCP Program Directors and Lead Specialists in work with managed care organizations and other external stakeholders
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other divisional leaders.
  • Liaison with Quality and Compliance Organization.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with operational teams in order to facilitate communication and standardization
  • Maintain standards of conduct commensurate with NHS values, policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state, county, and payer regulations and guidelines
  • Participate in the team meetings as necessary and provide additional consultation and direction as needed as it pertains to the ACT model and systems and processes to implement the model
  • Participate in NHS Corporate committees/teams as needed
  • Develop and provide on-going training to the program staff, families, stakeholders, and individuals served; in order to properly address the needs of the population being served
  • Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters level clinician/mental health professional. License preferred. A Mental Health Professional is a person trained in a generally recognized clinical discipline including, but not limited to, psychiatry, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, or activity therapies who has a graduate degree and at least two years experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Treatment Foster Care (TFC) and Foster Care Placement (FCP) models and experience working within the models
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations, standards, and bulletins applicable to TFC and FCP programs
  • 2 years experience providing supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Keen organization and analytical skills; detail oriented.
  • Experience in the development of program policy and procedure
  • Experience in the development of program specific training
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence based practices for individuals and families in TFC/FCP programs
  • Requires thorough understanding of internal and external fidelity monitoring
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining internal fidelity monitoring
  • Experience working within a Behavioral Health Electronic Health Record systems
  • Valid Driver License with and acceptable driving record per company policy
  • Appropriate state and federal clearances to include FBI, Criminal and child abuse clearances.
  • Requires excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Team orientated and strong leadership skills are required.
  • Travel required to include overnight travel
